Kelowna, BC (April 24, 2017) – Sixteen students from Western Canada will be awarded a RE/MAX 2017 ‘Quest for Excellence’ bursary, valued at $1,000, during their school commencement ceremonies.
The annual RE/MAX Quest for Excellence program encourages graduating students from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon and Northwest Territories to submit an essay detailing the contributions they have made to their communities. The bursary winners have all demonstrated exceptional motivation, leadership, and communication skills.
“Every year we’re amazed by the stories of the gifted Grade 12 students who take part in the Quest for Excellence bursary program,” said Marie Sheppy, Manager, Corporate Affairs, RE/MAX of Western Canada. “The 2017 winners have already made a difference in their communities, and we believe they will continue to be a positive force wherever they go in the future.”
“The Quest for Excellence bursary winners are clear examples that people of any age can make a difference,” said Elton Ash, Regional Executive Vice President, RE/MAX of Western Canada. “RE/MAX is proud to recognize these students’ admirable accomplishments.
