The simple definition of a real estate professional is someone who assists his or her clients in the buying, selling, or renting of a home or land. At RE/MAX, they do so much more than that. Deeply engrained in the RE/MAX organization is a commitment to helping the communities our associates live and work in. RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada is proud a supporter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, having contributed almost $3 million to the Foundation’s Ontario and Atlantic regions since 2004.
Through the RE/MAX Home for a Cure program, our agents take an active role in creating a future without breast cancer. This exclusive program allows agents to make a direct donation from the sale of each home to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, with all funds raised by RE/MAX directed to primary prevention research.
Our agents participate in a wide variety of events in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation including Yard Sale for the Cure, and Run for the Cure. Taking place on the last Saturday each May, the Yard Sale for the Cure gives home owners the chance to make a good first impression with a clutter free home. Not only does it give them the opportunity to unload items around the home that are no longer in use, it raises much-needed funds for Breast Cancer Research. In the early fall, RE/MAX agents also form teams or individually participate in the annual Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Run for the Cure, joining members in their community in this exciting run/walk event.
