RE/MAX Named 2023 CMN Hospitals Canadian Partner of the Year

RE/MAX is honoured to have been named Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations 2023 Canadian Corporate Partner of the Year.

“In neighbourhoods across Canada, RE/MAX agents are active in their local communities in many ways, including the RE/MAX Miracle Home Program,” says Adam Starkman, President and CEO of Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations, official manager of CMN partners and programs in Canada. “Through this program, and other fundraising efforts, RE/MAX brokers and agents play a vital role in helping to improve the health of children and are a critical ongoing source of funds for Canada’s children’s hospitals.”

Despite the challenging real estate market, RE/MAX took the long view, building new systems that will make managing the Miracle Home Program easier in years to come, launching new marketing efforts, and finding new and innovative ways to promote, enable and raise funds to support children’s hospitals.

This included the creation of an incentive program for agents and brokers to join the Miracle Home Program and increase their fundraising efforts, agents turning milestone birthdays into big fundraisers, one agent riding her Peloton the distance it would take to ride across Canada, shave for the brave challenges, and one training to hike just under 2,800 miles on the Appalachian trail in 2025!

All these efforts added up to projected fundraising of almost $5.2 million in 2023 – an amazing result considering the challenges being faced.

Since 1992, RE/MAX agents and brokers have reached a significant milestone of raising more than $100 Million in Canada, and over $200 Million across North America, and presently close to 8,000 agents in Canada participate in the Miracle Home Program each year.
