This year’s Reputation Study tracked 334 companies across 29 sectors, and one message stood out clearly: Canadians are rewarding brands that offer simplicity, dependability, and better value for their money.In a year marked by economic pressure and less patience for flashy promises, the companies that rose to the top were the ones that delivered where it mattered most.
Leger’s findings show that size and visibility alone no longer guarantee reputation. What matters is consistency, usefulness, and showing up where brands are needed most. That is a description that reflects what REMAX agents do every day.
Why This Recognition Matters
Leger is the largest Canadian-owned market research and analytics company. Its 2026 Reputation Study evaluated 334 companies across Canada, with each assessed by approximately 2,100 respondents, for a total of 38,619 interviews conducted between November 14, 2025, and January 20, 2026.
Reputation is measured across six pillars: financial success, social responsibility, honesty and transparency, quality of products and services, attachment, and innovation. REMAX leads the real estate sector — voted the most reputable real estate brand in Canada.
